Brave group and Mynavi Announce Capital and Business Partnership

Brave group Inc.and Mynavi Corporation announced a capital and business partnership, to further business expansion into the Metaverse and collaborate on Mynavi’s Metaverse business development.

With the goal of becoming a multifaceted entertainment trading company that trailblazes in the Metaverse economic space, Brave group engages in the development of multiple Metaverse facing projects, such as the RIOT MUSIC IP and a Metaverse marketing business that assists companies looking to expand their own entry into the Metaverse domain.

In June of 2022, Brave group established MetaLab, Inc. which specializes in Metaverse operations, with plans to launch a new Metaverse platform, based on an in-house engine, to further business expansion.

Brave group raised its first funding round from Mynavi in 2019, originally focusing efforts on sculpting and growing IP business development. Since then, these two companies have held many discussions about the possibility of further partnership, and have forged a new capital and business partnership to now strengthen their presences in the Metaverse.

This new capital and business partnership will facilitate the utilization of Brave group’s IP in Mynavi’s operations, joint business development resulting in the introduction of new services to Mynavi’s clients, and support for Mynavi’s Metaverse aspirations via Brave group’s broad approach to the Metaverse.

Aims to create new value and further develop services in the Metaverse field will be enacted by combining the strengths of both companies.

Comment from Shunsuke Suyama, Mynavi’s Innovation Promotion Division General Manager, Corporate Planning Headquarters:

When we first partnered with Brave group in 2019, the Metaverse had not yet existed and the market vastly differed from today.
However even at that time, I often overheard local elementary school students around my neighborhood saying things like “Let’s meet in (name of a game) okay?” instead of “Let’s meet in the park.” Seeing that led me to believe that communication in virtual spaces, opposed to real physical spaces, would become more prevalent in the future. Since then, my beliefs that this time was approaching have only deepened.
So, I met with President Noguchi and we’d deliberate day and night. After the first investment, we continued to contemplate further collaboration with Brave group, eventually leading to additional investment and the new capital and business alliance between us.
We’re looking forward to solidifying a dynamic tag-team partnership with Brave group to hasten making the future we both see into reality.

Comment from Brave group representative Keito Noguchi:

Back in 2019 we raised our first funding round from Mynavi, and for some time have been exploring the possibility of working together on the business side. Brave group specializes in creating IP from scratch, such as virtual artists, and despite a late entry to the field have garnered a proven track record in little time.
Through this new capital and business alliance, Brave Group will not only broaden its efforts into the world of the Metaverse, but will also support Mynavi’s Metaverse business expansion by further strengthening its alliance with Mynavi in joint business development.
